RoboCat 270 is a racing quadcopter fpv kit

It comes with basic components for you to put together a great looking Racing Quadcopter FPV . It’s a 270mm FPV Racing Quadcopter frame that has great looks.

In order to make it fly, you will need a 6 channel radio control system with a 6 channel Receiver, and a 11.1v 2200mAh Lipo Battery.

The RoboCat 270 kit contains:

  • RoboCat 270 frame, motors.
  • Speed controllers.
  • Propellers.
  • Power distribution board and a CC3D Flight controller.

Building it is a totally pain because there is no user manual or assembly manual in the box, so you are left alone all by yourself to judge how to build it or you better watch online videos to learn to build it right. Frame itself is a great looking and tough frame. Very easy to build. But the supplied electronics and components like motors, propellers, and speed controllers are nothing but rubbish and cheapest possible quality. Motors that came in the box, one of them was already binding due to bent shaft, Speed controllers were cheapest quality older simonK firmware, and propellers were totally soft and cheapest quality as well. As expected the power combo failed on very first flight right after a minute of flight. Anyway enjoy this video, unboxing and then short flight video and our conclusion. If you want RoboCat to be a superb FPV Racing Quadcopter, you will have to use quality motors, props, ESCs and then you will have a great flying Rough and tough FPV Racing quadcopter in your hands.
